Economy 7 immersion heater element. After 15 years they were replaced as they had started to heat inefficiently. The lower heater is wired to a circuit which is only live during cheap rate and the upper is wired on a normal circuit which is live all the time. Economy 7 water not heating overnight the entire water heating unit has had both elements boost and e7 replaced only 3 months ago but in the last 48 hours the e7 has stopped working it is not coming on at night when the radiators come on. I have checked the fuse seems ok. Initially i thought the bottom economy 7 thermostat had gone but this wasn t the case. I replaced them with new elements. The off peak element was placed on just over 50.
