I cannot avoid theses references as elder is becoming a very ambitious band first album doom masterpiece second album hard rock masterpiece third album post something masterpiece so ambitious that we cannot label them anymore. Founded by long time friends nicholas disalvo jack donovan and matt couto the group spent years plodding in sabbathian territory releasing their self titled debut 2007 followed by dead roots stirring in 2011. Because it needs to be savored and respected for the piece of art it truly is.
